About Nas
American rapper Nas was a major hit with his debut release in 1994, Illmatic, but sunk to mediocrity over the next three albums, until 2001 came around. After suffering a blow from the Jay Z diss track Takeover, Nas was ready for a comeback and that's what he did. Stillmatic, released at the end of the year, with tracks Got Ur Self A… and One Mic earned the album - and Nas – great reviews and a renewed interest among rap fans.
